Avilar, (Mrs. and Mr.) we felt at home in the dentist chair. I have had the best dental care and in office treatment I have ever had and I just had a HUGE birthday with an 8 in it! I initially went here because they took my Military Tricare, but when they stopped I still went and paid out of pocket because I really liked their service. I am not sure if, when they will accept tricare again or how insurance works in general, but I recommend going and paying out of pocket. I first visited for an emergency appointment and they were so great in getting me in as quickly as possible and providing amazing care. Ms. Talia at the front desk is a delight to speak with and makes the process of getting set up easy. But more importantly, after seeing them as my primary dental provider, I had to have a crown placed on a front tooth I had a root canal on as a child from a bad fall. I was so nervous about the cosmetic appearance and it has always been an insecurity of mine since it had only ever been worked on when I was very young. But Dr. Rivera and all of the hygienists that worked with me were so incredibly attentive, kind, and excited to make it perfect. Everything went smoothly and looks beautiful! I feel like I was given a new smile. Not only that, but everyone there was genuinely excited for me and worked so hard on the cosmetic aspect to make sure it looked natural and perfect. I felt like it was just as important to them as it was to me. It can sometimes be very challenging to find any kind of healthcare provider that you feel like genuinely hears you out and cares for you personally. Universal Dental Spa definitely did that for me! I recently moved to Orlando and needed to find a good dentist right away. I felt a hole in my tooth but had no pain. The Doctor was able to get me in for a appointment within a week. Which is great. I was worried about the bad reviews I saw on Yelp, but I notice the new dentist just took over the office a few years ago. When I arrived I was greeted and did not have to wait long to be seen. They did X-rays and found out the filling in my tooth feel out due to the filling being done wrong. I was shocked. The dentist who did my filling seem like he knew what he was doing but I guess not. She explained how the previous dentist made the error. There’s a lil gap between the tooth with the filling and that caused an issue. She also notice the other filling I had weren’t done correctly either.. So now I have to get this fix. Thank god for good dental insurance and this dentist being honest and upfront.

I highly recommended this office. I was scheduled to come here for an annual checkup that I do every year with the army. I typically just go wherever I can get in and out so if the place I get sent to recommends I get work done I just schedule elsewhere near home. However, my experience here was so great I decided to make this my first official dental office. I have scheduled a cleaning here and also asked about Invisalign. They fitted me and put me on a great payment plan all in the same visit even though that wasn’t scheduled at the time. The service here and work was all top notch from the front desk all the way to the dentist herself. Thank you all again!

Office was clean, comfortable but a little small. Building was easy access & plenty of parking for a medical building. Office staff was friendly & very helpful. My daughter was there to have a tooth extraction. She was extremely nervous due to a prior incident that happened at another dentist's office about a year ago so she was not very comfortable even though they tried to calm her down. Unfortunately, Dr. Rivera decided not to continue the procedure on her due to her mental state & also they had an issue getting the area fully numbed for some reason. Dr. Rivera referred her to an oral surgeon so she could be sedated. Unfortunately, she has no dental insurance & couldn't afford the procedure even though Universal staff said the oral surgeon would work with her on payment (we drove to surgeon's office & spoke to office staff in person). They said they don't do that so we left. We now have an appt with another dentist on Wednesday. Hopefully it works out. Personally, after speaking to my daughter, I feel that Dr. Rivera could've done the procedure but just didn't want to take the time because it would've been a difficult procedure plus I felt there might've possibly been miscommunication due to a language barrier. Both I & my daughter feel that some of the conversation between them might've been misinterpreted. Hopefully everything will work out for the best.
